2010 Quiz

1. What did you do in 2010 that you have never done before?


- sigh. not much.....became close with my girl cousins Jen, Dana and Rachel - took eddie to a football game - kissed the stanley cup - became a working mom (kinda) - took my son to Disney World - became a vegetable gardener - potty trained a boy -
2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions? Any new ones?

- My resolution was to do the 365 photo challenge and I failed miserably. My resolution for this year is to keep up with my workout routine.


3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

- Cousin Michelle had baby Leah and cousin Jamie had baby Ellie, and once-neighbor-bestie-turned-German-resident made Ethan a big brother to baby Kaydence! ....hmm.....not very close to me personally, but our neighbor had twins boys :)


4. Did anyone close to you die?

- None that I can think of...I really hope I'm not forgetting something....

5. What countries did you visit?

- None!


6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?

- Nothing that I can think of.....2010 was a pretty good year!


7. What dates are etched in your memory from 2010 and why?

- Going to see the Stanley Cup - the day my bestie Stef got engaged!!


8. What is your biggest achievement of the year?

- Losing around 35lbs in about 5 months


9. What was your biggest failure?

- not spending as much date time with the hubs


10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?

- I got my gallbladder taken out in June, none other than that!


11. What was the best thing you bought?

- Right now its my new winter coat that I looooove! Other than that, my favorite brown boots :)


12. Whose behavior merrited celebration?

- eddie turned 2! jim and michelle got engaged! stef and mike got engaged!


13. Whose behavior made you appauled and depressed?

- eddie kinda drives me crazy most of the week, does that count? lol.....otherwise we were all good! keith didn't even call me fat!


14. Where did most of your money go?

- buying clothes to fit my new hottness! ha! just kidding...i just threw that one in for erin. speaking of erin, we probably bought a lot of wine this year. other than that, the regulars....paying off credit cards (almost done!), groceries, mortgage, etc....


15. What did you get really, really excited about?

Um...I dunno! Being back in the pool?


16. What will always remind you of 2010?

- Going back to the pool, doing my first wedding as a planner/florist


17. Compared to last year are you....

happier or sadder? Happier. I wasn't kidding when I said 2010 was great.
thinner or fatter? Thinner!
richer or poorer? again, who knows? who cares? (hubby still does!)


18. What do you wish you'd done more of?

- more vacations! ha :)


19. What do you wish you'd done less of?

- um...i don't know!


20. How did you spend Christmas?

- With Mac, Amy, Nanna, Boppa, Hubby and Eddie at our house. I made a delish turkey too....I have to shout that out because I don't think I did before!


21. Did you fall in love in 2010?

- In love with my cousins!!


22. What was your favorite TV program?

- Anything on Bravo :)


23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate last year?

- No hate, just love!


24. What was the best book you read?

- As always, I'm still reading the pink covered books about shopping or shoes or boy drama or all of the above!


25. What was your greatest musical discovery?

- Cee Lo!


26. What did you want and get?

- Confidence!


27. What did you want and not get?

- A new car....lol


28. What was you favorite film?

- UP....still. Love it!


29. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?

- I turned 25 and.......eff. I can't for the life of me remember.


30. What is one thing that would have made 2010 better?

- More money for fun things!


31. How would you descibe your fashion for 2010?

- hmm...while I grew out my hair, which was a big change. I also got even more accessories thanks to  Charming Charlie's....


32. What kept you sane?

- My husband, my friends and my son. And wine. (same as last year!)



33. What celebrity/musical figure did you fancy most?

- Ummm......the guy from white collar! he's gay tho, don't worry hubs :)


34. What political issue stirred you the most this year?

- The Chicago Mayoral election (not yet voted on), mainly because Emmanuel and the fact that they're trying to figure out how they can kick him out when they're just trying to do so because they know he has it in the bag. sigh.


35. Who did you miss the most?

- Nicole, Ethan, Jesse (and Kaydence) who moved to Germany.


36. Who was the best new person you met?

- Not that they're new, but I love being back at the pool and getting to hang out with Sheena and Elaine.


37. Tell us a valuable lesson you learned in 2010.

- Two year olds are loco. But so far 2 is probably the most fun age, so they're kinda contradictory that way :)

- Ugh. I do not listen to enough regular music to know! Some of my current favs? "F*ck You" by Cee Lo Green, "Back to December" by Taylor Swift, "Grenade" Bruno Mars....Eddie's current favorite is the Imagination Movers "Boom boom Cha cha" (not sure if that's really what it's called, but thats what we call it!)
