Jump!

Eddie boy has always been a jumper.....from his wee little months wanting in his jumperoo every second, to this summer when he learned how to jump up in the air, the smiles are always huge when we're jumping.

This little Eddie fact of love was multiplied by a million when we put him into a gymnastics class, one at one of those huge gymnastic arena - like things, with bars and foam pits and trampolines. Oh, the trampolines this boy got to play on - big ones, small ones, round ones and rectangular ones. Love, love and little boy love.

So when he started the fun new 2 year old trick of pulling the cushions off of the couch...which, can we just talk about that for a second? WTF?? Why? Who does that? How did he learn that pulling cushions off of the couch was even effing possible? But let's face it, really....I don't want to see how much crap has accumulated under my couch cushions. So let's just leave them alone, ok little toddler of doom?

Anyway....pulling cushions off of the couch, blah blah blah, and then he realizes that he can do the same thing to the chaise. And what's better than pulling off multiple cushions than one, big, huge cushion? Well, the realization that under that big huge cushion is a trampoline!! And that big cushion? It makes the perfect landing pad! Toddler heaven!!!! So instead of trying to deter this action, we use it as a nice reward and I let him jump his little heart out. The giggles and the smiles and the cuteness is totally worth it.
{oh, look at that little smile of trouble....cute, but full of trouble!}

{and that landing? Oh, yes, he's watching himself in the fireplace glass. He finds it to be the funniest thing in the world, watching himself jump and laugh over and over again.}

So chaise/trampoline? Amazing. Eddie giggles? Amazing.
Love love :)
