The rest...

Goodness. Are we done yet? How are there this many pictures?? One day, when I print all of this out, I know I'm going to be thankful :)

{i will never forget how much finn loved sitting in the water. he was soo happy!}

{and adorable :)}

{and eddie? oh, he's a water boy for sure}

{family lov}

{all dressed up to go on our date!}

{momma's on vacation!}

{we went to our favorite little bar, AJ's dockside, which apparently has the best sunset view. Frankly, our house had a better view! But all the same, the food was awesome and we didn't even care that they totally forgot about us waiting for a table. We were just enjoying our quiet time!}

{happy accident....after they forgot about us, the next table that was open was the best seat in the house. Go us!}

{my mom and dad, who are adorable}

{and they still like each other after 30 years of marriage!}

{sometimes too much!}

{we did a quick trip to Savannah, which was gorgeous}

{Savannah Candy Co, best pecan pralines I have ever had. Ever. Like, had to stop and grab some on the way home. NOM}

{frankie's giant peanut butter cup}

{gah! cutie boys!}

{eddie wasn't super thrilled with the photo shoot, so I got some cute ones of Finney}

{silly eddie face, but cute none the less}

{tired, hot and a little crabby}

{finn noming some biscuits from Paula Dean's restaurant. I squeezed it to make it easier for him to eat, butter dripped out and I cried just a little. SO MUCH BUTTER}

{phew, this table is a disaster. My dad got a sandwich (pulled pork i think??) but the rest of us got the lunch buffet and it was phenomenal. Sadly, I think the best food of the trip which I didn't want to admit, but will begrudgingly. Meh}

{turza boys + water = happy forever}

{unplanned trip getting soaked in the fountains? eddie super happy!}

{he loved it so much that we ended up going back the day we left so he could get a little extra play time in}

{what could eddie be digging for?}

{pirate treasure, of course!!}

{what a lucky boy!!}

{ahem, best surprise/random find in a beach store ever. Eddie thought this was the greatest}

{our last day on the beach}

{i love that this picture shows just how calm it was there...finn could just sit and splash...so perfect!}

{dad got his huge kite up!}

{some turza boy construction}

{Eddie and I flying Grandpa's kite}

{all the way out...it was so crazy high}

{dad pointing to the kite}

{now you can see that teeny little dot!}

{finally, on the last day, finn wasn't eating sand! it was glorious}

{instead he made little drawings in the sand. He's obviously talented, no?}

{our last day in Georgia...side trip to grab some souvineers (love love love my handmade coffee cup, some earrings for my mom, fountains and candy for Eddie}

{on our way home....the mountains never get old}

{for dinner that night we stopped in Asheville and fell in love. There is such a cool downtown area...Frank and I decided it would be a great place to go back to}

And that's it! Can you believe it? I absolutely loved this vacation...it was crazy at times, but we're about a month out and already the "oh my god, why did we decide to drive" memories are fading and the awesome ones are getting stronger. I will always remember Eddie's intent stare as boats passed our beach house, his love for binoculars and the way he lit up at Disney World. Eddie says that his favorite part was "digging sand castles" and he still talks daily about crab boats. He also loves to look at his map and point out places we went. Frankie reports that his favorite part was surprising Eddie at Disney World, which happened just the place that he wanted it to...at the arch heading into the property. As I said before, we would never have had this vacation without my family. My parents, who decided for some crazy reason to take our crazy 4 on their anniversary trip and found a beautiful house. And my parents and sister in law who enabled our Disney dreams and gave us gift cards. These memories, these pictures, they're because of you guys, and we can never thank you enough. <3
