Date Number One

Today was the first of two dates I'll be going on in two days. None of which will be with my husband.

Ha.

Besides, who wouldn't want to date this cute?

{please excuse the see-food. i pulled out the camera and he went crazy with the 'cheese!'-ing and I couldn't resist}

Eddie and I had a wonderful Mommy-Son date at the zoo. We went for the member preview of the new Great Bear Wilderness, which was crazy packed, but left the rest of the zoo empty. So instead of waiting in line, we had a nice time enjoying the quiteness of the rest of Brookfield.

{Lemurs. I love them! This guy sat like this for like, 2 minutes, just basking in the sunlight}

{and then he found his facinating hand, and stared at that for a while, too}

{eddie worked for a bit}

{and then we went to visit the bears}

{this polar bear was having such a ball in the water....he would stand on the side and jump in, even bonking his head on the glass a couple of times! He had the crowd ooohh-ing and aahh-ing like they were at a dolphin show!}

{the he got out, the crowd cleared and Eddie finally made it up to the glass, wondering where his beloved bear went}
