Eddie-isms

(This post is probably only cute/interesting to a handful of you, but I want to have these written somewhere!)

Just to document, because talking to Eddie is so fun these days :)

First, of course, is his jibberish. Which is usually something like "shhhum busha rusha boo" plus his regular words:

Ooookay? (asked if anyone around him coughes or sneezes) or Okay!! (said if he falls)

Aye-ya-ya (when he's frustrated) or my tisky noise that he mimicks

Mommy (new from Momma and I lurve it!), Dada, Grandma, Grandpa, Nanna, Grandpa, Tiss (Aunt Christine), P-at (Uncle Pat), Amy, Mac, Naynee (Saddie), Ack (Jack) or Jack-Jack (said perfectly when he says them together), Nona (cat) or just Mow (his cat noise), Mickey, Minnie, Vala (his friend Velia, from down the street), A-a (Anna, Velia's sister), Meee (Melissa, cousin/babysitter) are names all said on a normal basis. Also, I must add that he thinks the neighborhood kids are all named "KIDS!" and shouts at them when they walk to the school bus.

School Bus, truck, tractor and car are all pointed out on a normal basis while we drive.

Read, eat, milk, please and all done still said in sign language, but with the word at the same time

PWAYYY!! Said anytime he wants to go ou-sie (outside) or to the park where we PWAY SWIDE!! (play on slides)

Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and BYE!!!!!!!!!! said to anyone, ever, who drives by, walks by in the store or comes in our house.

Pease and Tan-too (please and thank you)

Nigh-nigh (night-night), Lova (love you)

He will also "sing his ABC's" which is mostly him going "a-b-c-d-aaaaaa-aaaa-aaa" through the rest of the song.

And how can I forget "No." ALL.THE.TIME.

He has a bunch more, mostly food (ha!) words, in addition to most of his toys by name. The ones listed above are my favorites....not to mention what I hear about ninety percent of the day :)
