I promise that I will be back to blogging soon. This week is a little loco....not only is having an almost-two-year-old SERIOUSLY wearing on my sanity, my first wedding is this weekend, one in which I am doing all of the decor for. The lists do not stop coming to my head.
On top of that, we have house guests this weekend....our first house guests that aren't just drunk friends who can't drive home, and I'm fighting with my inner Martha and the fact that I need to be realistic, that OH YES, maybe I shouldn't bring out the crystal from our wedding because Eddie the Terrible is all SMASHSMASHSMASHPRETTYSHINYSHIT. But holy crap, that inner Martha will just not give up. Ya'll, I seriously thought it was a normal thought to get up before sunrise to put out fresh fruit and bagels for our guests. Whne I mentioned that to some neighbors, they were all....IT'S CALLED CEREAL, MAGGIE. Get a freaking grip.
No seriously. They said that to me. I need to get some more inner Martha friends.
Add that to the list.
We have had a couple of great days lately, though....days that I can't wait to blog about, until I see the lists piling up and they just happen to win over the blog. There will be posts coming up, like Eddie's first ice cream cone, the zoo, sprinkler fun with his bestie and more. I'll try to get at least 2 more posts for the week, I promise!
As the cousins who asked if we could stay this weekend, we expect nothing more than a spot to blow up our air mattress and some towels to shower with! =) Relax!!!!
ReplyDeleteI TOTALLY understand the martha in you but I stand by what I say that I think bagels would be perfect! They will understand that you have a lot going on with the wedding!
