Eddie had his 18 month checkup yesterday and I just have to say....
....my child is a rockstar!!!
He is still in the 90th percentile for both height and weight and in the upper percentiles (I don't remember exactly...) for his big noggin. The doctor said he looked wonderful, was advanced in his (some big doctor term) knowledge (mainly knowing his body parts, animal sounds, etc) and was on track with his vocal skills.
He continued to pester us about having another baby, something we always go through when we're at his office. He says it is his way of keeping up his patient numbers. I say it is his way of being annoying.
Just kidding.
Part of me wanted to point him to this blog, just so I wouldn't have to go through the second baby talk and all of my thoughts on the matter, but thankfully I didn't. I'm guessing he doesn't even have the internet, since he mentioned that he doesn't have a TV.
And that was the moment I was positive that my son's pediatrician was a total nerd.
Good thing that nerds make great pedi's. We still lurve him!
