Wild week!

Yikes! Has it really been a week since I posted last? This week literally flew by for me. I have no idea what did it, but I'm thinking it has something to do with the first week of my new coaching schedule of every evening except for thursdays (still at the pool, though, for Eddie's swim lesson!). The house still has toys strewn around every which way and for whatever reason, making dinner sneaks up on me every night. I need to start drinking stronger coffee.

So. These pictures were supposed to be posted Monday, which in my mind was practically yesterday. Let's pretend, okay?

We had so much fun this weekend with a trip to Jonamac Orchard! We've been hearing about this orchard since we moved out here, but never jumped the gun on going. Silly us! I am now throroughly obsessed with their play area and the general country-ness of it...like I don't get enough of that as it is? We ended up going on the last day of apple picking, which worked out wonderfully. Eddie was intent on his search for not the perfect apple, but the biggest, and Finn was more interested in just getting his hands on whatever he could.

{love the ATV wagon}

{apple cider donuts...nom!}

{such good workers}

{beautiful!!}

{frank was so impressed with eddie's perfect apple with the little leaf!}

{i put finn down to take pictures and he started running away...through the trees. thankful for some other people who played some defense so i could climb through and catch him}

{my boys, playing in the trees. so cute!}
{once finney got a hold of an apple, he would not let it go. this one was his companion the rest of the trip}

{on our way to the play area!}

{i was seriously obsessed with the ducky race game}

{hooray! something to keep finney occupied...the spider web}

{cute little stinker}

{oh yes i did. my attempt at the bike racetrack. it was glorious.}

{the jumping pillow was SO fun}

{finney loved it too!}

{everyone around us kept laughing at his big smiles}

{one last turn for the duckies....finn liked helping eddie pump!}

{time for the apple slingshot! there was a cannon that you can kind of see in the background, but Eddie decided he was scared of that, much to Frankie's dismay}

{targets for the apple launcher}

{family picture! finn is thrilled to be on the wagon ride, obviously}

{these two kill me. such buds}

{and me and my wiggly little man}

Phew! Fun day, huh?! I loved it so much we planned a play date there during the week and have one next week too! Between the corn silo to play in, all of the slides and climbing things, it is so fun for the boys. The play area is free during the week and it is so close to our house, it is totally worth the trip.....I just have to stop buying donuts every time we go!
