please, please let me preface this by saying that i am sick. and i am not one of those women who is all fine and dandy when they're sick. you know how women always complain about men who become huge babies when they are sick? i can't complain. when i'm sick, i become a whiney, blubbering baby. i suck at being sick. i just want to stay in bed and whimper and be cared for.
ha! i'm sure you can bet how well that went over yesterday.
thankfully, hubby was off work and he took over eddie duties and i kind of just hung out on the couch. to not be a total bum, i tried to play with eddie the best i could. he came and gave me toys, kisses and snacks. well, one of the toys that he shared with me was his new george spinny thing. so i started playing with it, and i'm not sure if it was the just being sick thing and being a little out of it, but i fell in love with this spinner thing. it sucked me in and before long i was just....staring.
ooooohhhh lights. pretty lights. pretty lights spin.
so then i took it to the next level. PLEASE, please know that i was not in my right mind. i'm sick! you can't blame me! i put the george figure on my forehead, and pressed the button to make it spin. can you guessed what happen?
really. go ahead and guess.
i start to feel my hair pull. OH SHIT. some of my hair from right along my bangs area got sucked into george.
noooooooo!! i screamed. hubby! hubby!! george knotted my hair! help! heeeelp!!
you know what he did? he laughed. HE LAUGHED AT MY KNOTTED HAIR. after a while of trying to get this thing out, i could feel that i wasn't making any progress. i only had one option....to cut out the knot. YUP. i had to cut this thing out of my f*ing hair. thankfully, it was just a little bit of hair, right in the front, so my bangs cover it. i was also able to keep about an inch of hair. and really, i have no idea what happened.
why the eff did i decide to put a spining thing on my head? am i really that dumb?
sigh. i blame the cold. my brain is too engulfed in snot to be thinking clearly. right?!
