After our Sunday trip to Costco ("COS-CO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!") as Eddie says, we were unloading the goods and letting Eddie play with the big boxes.
An hour later, the boy is still playing with the boxes. As stools to climb on, tunnels to crawl under, racecars, hats and most frequently, buildings to knock over. He would stack them high - huge, heavy boxes, giggle with his pride beaming out of him and say "Look at diiiiis!! Look what Eddie made!" and once we adequately oooh'd and aww'd at his creation, he would run like a linebacker and tackle the crap out of his once-loved building and giggle. Oh, the giggles. Oh, the pride. Oh, the joy of being a toddler.
So many times Sunday, Hubby and I looked at eachother and just marvled in the fact that we created this awesome little man. It was a good day. A really, awesomely good day.
