Today I am thankful for my hubby....thankful that he gives me opportunites to beam with pride at him, thankful to be able to look at someone who is telling me (this is a direct quote by the way...) "Your hot-shot husband is really doing amazing things...." and say "I know, right?!", thankful to laugh with him, to yell with him....thankful that we are raising a crazy, hilarious and cute little boy together.
He gives me so many things to be thankful for, and today, I had a rare opportunity to see him in action, and for that I am thankful.
You see, Hubby is no slouch. He recently came up with a great fundraising event for a foundation that he is a part of.....a dodgeball tournament with high school teams and adult teams....and he ran the thing from start to finish - signs, staff, teams, balls, etc - and he rocked it. I walked into the high school and could hear the cheers coming from the gym. The kids, the adults, the people cheering and the people running the event were having a great time. It was so fun, and I was so proud of my husband.
So I'm thankful for dodgeball, which reminded me to be thankful for my husband.
