I like to brag.

Yesterday, THANKFULLY I finally got a hair cut. Now, those of you that know me know that I usually try and fail misserably to grow my hair out, only to have it get *almost* to my shoulders and then chop it so short that it takes another year to grow out, just to have me chop it again and regret it. It is a vicious round about that I can't get out of. Soooo, I got it cut yesterday and the stylist did an awesome job putting up with me saying "well, I want it shorter, but not TOO short....well um, that's not short enough. can you cut it a little more? but not too much. I want to grow it out, ya know..." and you know what made her keep her cool while I hemmed and hawed about length, I TOTALLY BROKE OUT THE BLACKBERRY AND SHOWED PICTURES OF EDDIE'S PARTY. Yup! I'm that client! Whatever, she loved them and oooohhh and awed at the appropriate times and said that Eddie is the cutest baby ever. Because he is. Duh. And my haircut rocks....so all is well in the end :)

While I was getting my haircut, Frank was in charge of Eddie dinner. I came home to Frank dying to show my this picture....

Peas. All over my son. Do you see his eyebrows? They're GREEN. Apparently, he took a huge handfull of peas and smashed them on his forehead. Is it bad that I imagine him thinking "Eddie SMASH!" all Hulk style, combined with that lovely frat boy trick of smashing a beer can on their head? (Hmm...now that I think about it, Frankie could have been telling Eddie all about his frat boys days when Frank may or may not have done this oh, about a million times). Hopefully this smash phase doesn't last too long...

As promised, here are the only pictures that I got of Eddie in his new shoes....nothing too special, as he was far more interested in climbing up and down the porch steps than being a model for his momma. Nothing new there!

Yeah, you can't really see the shoes at all :) But the second picture with the grass is kinda cool (I was playing peek-a-boo behind the grass) so we'll take it. We do have our second baby gym class today, so I'll try to snap some pictures there since I missed them last week (I didn't want to be that mom...thankfully, someone else was! lol). Other than that, have a wonderful weekend! We have a busy one with my dad's birthday on Saturday, a bonfire Saturday night (eddie will have a round 2 sleepover with Nanna and Grandpa!) and a birthday party on Sunday. I'm sure there will be some fun pictures from this weekend that I can't wait to share with you...hehe!
