First, I have to show this super adorable picture of Eddie after his shots on Tuesday...
::sniff:: you know you have a big kid when they get shots in their arms. He looked so cute running around with his buff little bandaided arms, it was killing me and Frank. So far Eddie hasn't gotten the rash that could come after one of his shots, so that is good news. He has gotten the sniffly little cold that the Dr. mentioned he could get, which sucks a little. He was up all night sneezing, so while I'm leaning towards the shots because of timing, it could be allergies because I know that Frank said his were acting up as well.
Also, I have to share that Carters is having a CRAZY sale for the weekend - everything (including their new fall stuff) is 50% off, their clearance is an additional 30% off, there are some 20% off coupons that are floating around AND you get a $10 gift check for every $25 you spend. I got Eddie a ton of stuff and am trying to convince Frank that I should go back for more. Which, to be honest, is kinda hard to justify when I came home with all of this yesterday....
heheehe...it's all in a days work! The cozy coupe that Eddie is standing by? His new favorite toy, of course! This morning when he woke up he walked right to it saying "ca!ca!" and went on to play with the car for 20 mintues. By himself. Which is practically unheard of in toddler world. Cozy Coupe, I have a feeling that I am going to love you for a long, long time.
OH! I also have to share that Eddie has actually started to smile at the camera when I pull it out. This is very good news for my picture obsession. Once I was done saying "cheeeeeesseeee!!!!!!" about 50 times, Eddie grabbed the camera and started to play with it on the floor. He was being very careful, so I went with it. Somewhere along the way he walked into his playroom and I'm not even joking - HE POINTED IT AT HIS TOYS AND PAUSED FOR A MINUTE. And then, he turned and did it again. Bwahahaahahaha! You know you take too many pictures of your kid when they pretend to take pictures of their toys.
I have a huge backlog of pictures and trips that I need to post about, so I promise I'll try and get them up soon. In the meantime, enjoy the long weekend everyone!!
