Cousin Love

 While Eddie doesn't have any direct cousins, we are lucky to get together with his second cousins (third? I don't really know about these things) often. It is really a good time and each time we go, the babies get more and more used to each other and get along really well. Last week we had a playdate with Michelle, who will be having her second  girl in a couple weeks and her 19 month old daughter, Shelby. Now, I know I posted pictures of Eddie and Shelby playing before, but let me tell you - Shelby is a RIOT. She is so funny - I am convinced she can win the heart of anyone with her silly faces and her parrot like repetition. She had me cracking up all day long :)

{i could not, however, get her to smile for my camera}

{she was too busy trying to figure out the camera instead of smiling for it!}

{so I let her take some pictures. she thought that was just the greatest thing. Hi Michelle! Hi Eddie!}

{and I know.....gasp! I let a toddler touch my camera! meh. she loved it :) Not to mention that she figured out how to copy and edit a picture on my actual camera, something I still have no idea how she did. Damn young ones and  their techy knowledge!}

{hi bug!}

{shelby - make a funny face!! too cute not to include, even tho it is blurry}

Hopefully they remember how well they got along last week when they get together again on Christmas Eve! I mean, come on....all toddlers have a memory that good, right?

Today we had another wonderful playdate with cousin Colleen and her almost two year old (wow!) Michael and baby Makayla. Not only did we get to play and hang out for a bit, we also got to check out their new home! Of course, the boys had fun, Makayla was adorable and Colleen and I had a good old time chatting away. We even talked about monthly cousin get-togethers, which would be so much fun, especially if we can get Michelle, Shelby and the new baby in on the playdates as well. Could you even imagine all of the cuteness that could come from that? Oh my. Cuteness overload, for sure. And even more so....can you believe I didn't get one picture today? I even brought my camera in with me. Boo! Oh well....all the more reason for more pictures later.
