Did I mention that we went to see THE MOUSE of all mice last week? Unfortunately for us, we did not get to go to nice, warm Florida. Poor Mickey Mouse came to see us. So did all of the Princesses, the Clubhouse crew, Nemo.....they even brought 'Small World' to good ol' Rockford, Illinois!!

It was a wonderful show. They include all of the characters that I could think of and even reminded me of a few. I even surprised myself by knowing all of the songs :) Ha! All of my Disney love has paid off. Eddie enjoyed the show more than I thought he would - he was very interested in the skating and would clap along with the croud - dance - laugh, whatever! His favorites were the genies (above) and all of the toy soldiers from Toy Story. Eventually, however, sleep got the best of Eddie and he knocked out in my arms - while holding Hubby's hand, mind you. It was very cute and the perfect ending to our family outing. The time that he fell asleep worked perfectly, too - it was just at the finale and he slept through the fireworks that probably would have scared him!

So, the Mickey obsession is running strong around the Turza household. I hear Santa is bringing Eddie a ton of Mickey related toys.....funny how he knows just what to get, isn't it?!? All prep for when we take a trip to Disney this summer....you know, as long as I can convince Hubs to fly or he can convince me to drive...
Hey! Maybe Santa will bring Hubby some anti-anxiety meds for the airplance ride. Sounds like a good plan, no?
