-For those of you that aren't friends with me on facebook, my status today was regarding a poopy diaper change. Eddie, in all of his adorableness, told me "good job!" after I finished changing him. Awesome.
-Is adorableness a word?
-I hate an overly enthusiastic/annoying waitress. SERIOUSLY. Our waitress tonight was all 'GIRLS NIGHT! I LOVE A GIRLS NIGHT!' and kept commenting on the laughing and the girls night and the awesomeness of the situation. Then she would ignore us for long periods of time and come back and comment on how much she loved waiting on a girls night. Good thing you suck as a waitress, crazy woman.
-Doesn't it suck when you go to a restaurant and you think of the last time that you were there, and it makes you sad? The last time I was at this restaurant was for my birthday dinner, one in which my friend Nicole and I got very drunk, very quickly as it was pretty much the first time we had really drank since our sons were born. Nicole's husband was away at boot camp at the time and we got together often for playdates. She lives in Germany now, reunited with her husband, pregnant with her second baby. I know she reads this blog (what up Germany!!!!) and I know those pregnancy hormones probably suck and as much as I don't want to make her sad, I have to say it. I miss her terribly. She's been on my mind a lot lately. MISS YOU!!!!
-Winter sucks. I'm sick of it. Driving in the snow sucks. I'm sick of it. Missing putting your son to bed sucks. But some girl time is pretty nice.
-My dad makes me laugh. Sometimes, when I'm just sitting around, I'll think of something my dad said and I crack up. Today I had to talk to him about some wedding invitations I designed for someone he knows. The funny part? The person I had to make them for is the gas station attendent where he gets his morning coffee. He calls me up one day and tells me I have to help "Becky BP" (as in BP gas stations) with her wedding. Oooookayyy. Then when we talk a week later he's all "this is weird. isn't this weird? why do people talk to me so much?" because really, my dad will have a heart felt conversation with any random person. So basically, what I'm trying to say here, is....
...if you see this man - TALK TO HIM. About anything. About your kids or your job or your hemmroids. Just talk to him. He loves to talk to strangers!!
-and on that note, good night...sweet dreams.
