Years ago, trying to be a good wifey, I made mine and Frank's stockings by hand. Last year, I knew I couldn't put the time into a stocking for Eddie, so we got him a cute 'my first Christmas' one, figuring we may as well use one of those when we could. Knowing the time would come, I found a stocking kit months ago on 50% off and I went ahead and got it. The earlier the better, right? Around the same time, I thought of doing Homemade Holiday and was really excited to get going. The excitement died after a while and the stocking sat half done for about a month. I recently got back to working on it and am excited to show you the finished product!
Isn't she purty? This was the first time I've ever embrodered a name on top (mine and Frank's are written in paint pen since I wasn't brave enough to try) but this year I bit the bullet. Is it perfect? NOPE! But I love it. I can't wait to see it hanging with the others this year.
