So we have this mini jungle gym thing. It has a swing and a slide. Eddie loves going down the slide, but we have always picked him up and let him go down. Recently, he started trying to climb up the slide, which was cute but he never got close to the top and would get really frustrated. Apparently he tried this when my dad was watching him and Grandpa Burp decided to teach Eddie the right way to get to the top and go down the slide.
{Which means climbing up the back}
{making a silly 'i'm trying sooo hard' face}
{and giving mommy and daddy a heart attack}
{especially the part when he goes to sit down and almost falls back}
{but eventually he makes it}
{and he is just so proud of himself}
{he goes down pretty quickly}
{and claps for himself at the bottom}
.....and we repeat that about 500 times a day. It is the first thing he runs to in the morning and the last thing he does at night. It really is a good thing in the end - minus the heart attacks - since it has kept Eddie really happy and playing hard even though I'm not there to help every second. But really, it does get a little hairy sometimes. All in good fun, I suppose!
